Now in its fifth year, BLK JOY Fest has grown into a powerful movement that celebrates Black joy, culture, and community while providing access to vital tools and resources. What began as a local gathering has blossomed into a cornerstone event that has welcomed thousands of attendees, supported hundreds of Black-owned businesses, and amplified health and wellness initiatives rooted in community care.

Each year, we’ve deepened our impact—offering dynamic workshops, engaging performances, and interactive spaces that not only entertain but empower. From connecting families to mental health services to creating opportunities for economic mobility through our vendor marketplace, BLK JOY Fest has become more than a celebration—it’s a catalyst for healing, connection, and change.

Year 5 marks a major milestone. It represents our commitment to longevity, legacy, and joy as resistance. This year, we honor the collective power of our community and the resilience that fuels us. As we reflect on the progress we’ve made, we look ahead with renewed purpose: to continue creating joyful, culturally relevant spaces where Black voices are centered, and where our people can thrive—together.
